This Privacy Policy explains how Renee Gomez (“Skillberry,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use Skillberry Visuals on mobile devices or the web, its account, cloud, community, Team and Family services, and the Skillberry website.
It also covers website contact forms, organization inquiries, newsletters and the Skillberry AAC interest list. Skillberry AAC is in development; its interest-list form collects the details you submit for updates and does not create an AAC app account. Any future hosted AAC service or test program will provide the privacy information applicable to that service.
Account and sign-in information includes your email address, account ID, first name and role if provided, the sign-in method you choose, and authentication/session information. Enabled third-party sign-in providers may supply the profile details needed to authenticate you.
Content you create or save can include visual boards and templates, schedules and routines, labels and custom phrases, token/reward settings, progress and completion history, profile or learner names and pictures, custom photos and backgrounds, and imported or recorded sounds. Some features also process reminder preferences and activity identifiers/timestamps to determine reward eligibility.
Team and Family services process organization and membership information, member email addresses and roles, profile or directory photos, learner names/photos, invitation and connection records, sharing permissions, device registrations and access-limit information.
Purchase information includes account and billing-provider identifiers, products, subscription status, renewal/expiry information and premium access. Card details are handled by the store or payment processor rather than collected directly by the app.
Support and website forms collect the message and contact details you provide. In-app feedback can also include account email, first name and role, an installation identifier and a hashed network identifier for abuse prevention. Product-usage information is described under Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking below.
We use information to authenticate accounts; save and synchronize content; display visuals and play selected sounds; manage subscriptions, trials and access; deliver requested reminders; record progress and reward eligibility; operate Team/Family sharing and community moderation; and respond to support, feedback and organization inquiries.
We also use necessary technical and usage information to improve features, diagnose problems, prevent spam and abuse, maintain security, enforce these Terms and comply with applicable law. When you request product updates or a newsletter, we use your submitted contact details for those communications.
Guest use does not require an app account. Guest boards, settings and customizations are generally stored on the device or in that browser’s storage. Browsing approved community content, downloading media or submitting feedback still involves network requests to the relevant services.
Signed-in use can synchronize saved visuals, profile folders/pictures, reusable media and activity history with the account service. Signed-in content may also be cached locally so that the app can display it between connections. Synchronization depends on connectivity and the feature you use.
Uninstalling a mobile app or clearing browser storage can remove local-only content. It does not automatically delete an account, cloud content, website-form submissions or a paid subscription.
Local app files and browser storage hold preferences, content, cached media and other app state. Native sign-in sessions use operating-system secure storage; web sessions use browser persistence. Device/browser settings, backups and storage clearing can affect local data.
Supabase provides the account database, server functions and private cloud storage used for signed-in features. Custom images, recordings and profile thumbnails may be uploaded there. Private account storage is separate from content deliberately submitted for community or Team sharing.
Billing, support emails and website-form submissions are also processed by the providers described below. Content you export, print, download or share may create separate copies outside Skillberry’s account storage.
Team members with the relevant permissions may access organization directories, shared library items and learner information made available to their role. Reusable approved Team Library content is available to authorized Team members; assigning it to a learner does not make that library item private to that learner.
Family Access connects a specified account to a specified learner. Access to visuals and access to activity summaries are controlled separately. Where activity sharing is enabled, authorized recipients can see the selected learner’s completion, reward and usage information.
People with the appropriate permissions can change or revoke connections and grants. Revocation stops future authorized service access as clients reconnect, but does not recall independent downloads, exports, printed materials or copies already accepted into another person’s library. Check the recipient, learner and sharing settings before sharing.
We use Supabase for authentication, database services, server functions and cloud storage; RevenueCat for purchase/subscription and entitlement management; Apple and Google for app distribution and store billing; and Stripe for payments in the web billing flow.
Enabled sign-in services process the information needed when you choose them. Resend is used for configured invitation, feedback and organization-request emails. Webflow hosts the website and stores native website-form submissions. Email notifications may contain the inquiry, feedback or account/contact information needed to handle it.
These providers process information to supply their services. Their own privacy notices also apply to activities you conduct directly with them, such as store purchases, hosted checkout and third-party sign-in.
Skillberry Visuals records product-usage events for signed-in accounts. Events can include your account ID, a randomly generated session ID, timestamp, tool or action, app version, platform and limited categories describing the feature used. Speech-related events can identify a category such as a label, custom phrase or custom audio; they do not include the spoken text or recording in the analytics event.
These events are account-linked, not anonymous. The product-analytics event payload excludes learner identifiers, names, visual labels and other free text. Guest app use does not generate these signed-in product-usage events, although infrastructure and platform providers may process technical request or diagnostic information.
We do not sell or rent personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising or data-broker purposes. We do not use behavioral-advertising SDKs in the app. Store, billing, hosting and sign-in providers may collect their own operational or transactional information under their policies.
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the features you use, maintain accounts and security, process billing, handle support and comply with applicable obligations. Local content remains subject to your device/browser storage and deletion choices.
Owner-controlled cloud content is retained until you remove it, complete account deletion or it is no longer needed for those purposes. Billing-provider records, support correspondence, website submissions and limited security/backup records may have different retention requirements.
Shared copies are independent of the original: accepted personal copies, downloads and approved Team Library items may remain after a source profile, learner or item is removed. Removing a community item does not remove copies other users already saved.
Skillberry Visuals accounts, purchasing, content management and sharing are intended to be managed by adults such as parents, caregivers, educators and therapists. Children may use adult-prepared visuals with appropriate supervision; they should not independently create accounts or submit personal information to us.
An adult or organization adding another person’s name, photo, voice or activity information must have the authority and any required consent to do so. Use only the information necessary for your purpose and review who can access it. Do not submit identifiable learner information, private recordings or sensitive personal details to a public community library.
Please do not use Skillberry as a place to upload medical records, detailed therapy records, government identifiers or financial information. If you believe a child independently supplied personal information, or someone uploaded information without authorization, contact us so we can investigate and address it.
Community publishing is an optional, separate action. Templates and sounds submitted for moderation become available to other users when approved, including guests who browse approved content. A creator display name derived from your profile may be shown with a template. Media included in a submission, including sounds, may be included in the shared item or submitted to the sound library.
Before publishing, remove private names, photos, recordings and other learner information, and make sure you have permission to share all included material. Removing a community sound or template does not recall saved copies or remove audio already included in another saved template.
We may also disclose information to the service providers described above, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect people or the service against fraud/security threats, or as part of a business reorganization or asset transfer subject to applicable law.
You can choose guest use, edit account/profile information, manage saved content and available sharing grants, and control camera, photo-library, microphone and notification permissions through your device or browser. These permissions support choosing/capturing images, recording sounds and delivering reminders when you use those features.
Review Team/Family permissions before connecting accounts or sharing activity. Removing a grant or published source cannot retrieve copies recipients have already made. Use account deletion to remove account-linked data; clearing browser storage or uninstalling only addresses local storage.
To ask about access, correction, deletion or other privacy rights available under the law where you live, contact daijobuprints@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and authority to act for another person. For information controlled by your organization, contact its administrator as well.
You can request that we stop optional product-update emails or remove a website interest-list submission by using any unsubscribe option provided in the message or contacting us.
Skillberry Visuals provides an in-app account deletion flow. Team members must leave their Team membership before the account can be deleted; contact the Team administrator or us if you need help. The deletion service removes owner-scoped private media and the account, with account-linked records removed according to their account relationships.
Deletion does not recall independent recipient copies, exported/printed content or Team-owned library records, and it does not automatically erase correspondence or transaction records retained separately by service providers. Contact us if a particular shared item or website submission also needs attention.
Deleting an account, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage cancellation through the store or billing service where you purchased it. We may retain limited records where needed for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention or technical backup processes; residual backup removal may not be immediate.
We use access controls and other reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Protect your device and account, keep software updated, use device locks and choose sharing recipients carefully. People with access to an unlocked device may be able to view locally stored visuals and cached media. Private account storage is not a promise that content is inaccessible after you intentionally publish, export or share it.
We may update this policy when our features, providers or practices change. We will post the revised policy with an updated date and provide additional notice where appropriate or required by law. Where a change requires consent, we will seek it rather than treating continued use as consent to unrelated new processing.
Information may be processed in countries other than where you live because our providers operate in multiple locations. Data-protection rules can differ between countries. Contact us with questions about the processing of your information or rights that apply in your location.
Webflow and related hosting infrastructure may process technical request information, such as IP address, browser/device information and security logs, to deliver and protect the website. Cookies or browser storage may be used for site functionality. This is separate from the signed-in app analytics described above.
When you submit a contact form, organization inquiry, newsletter signup or Skillberry AAC interest form, we receive the fields you complete and any consent you give. We use them to respond to the inquiry or send the updates requested. Native Webflow submissions are stored with Webflow and may be sent to configured recipients.
The AAC interest form asks for an email address and an optional first name. It is a product-updates signup, not app-account registration. Do not include private learner or health information in website forms. You can contact us to request correction/deletion of a submission or to stop optional updates.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Renee Gomez at daijobuprints@gmail.com. Please identify the service involved, such as Skillberry Visuals, Team/Family access or a website/AAC interest-list submission, so we can route the request.
