Show two activities with a First Then board

Skillberry Visuals includes First Then boards for presenting a short sequence on iPhone or iPad. Put an activity in the First position and the following activity in Then, using pictures and labels that match the routine.

Keep one next step visible

A First Then board focuses on two parts of a routine. For example, a family might show First: put on shoes, Then: go outside. A teacher might show First: tidy the table, Then: reading. These are examples of what you can represent, not instructions about which expectations to set.

Choose activities that are accurate for the moment and explain the sequence in a way the person understands. The adult decides how the board fits the setting and any existing support plan.

Personalize the pictures and wording

Use familiar images and labels to represent each activity. Skillberry supports library images and personal photos across its visual tools. Available customization depends on your plan.

A digital First Then board can be revisited when the same sequence happens again. Profiles and folders help organize reusable visuals for different routines or people.

Choose a different format when you need more detail

If you want to show several activities in order, use a visual schedule. If you want to show the steps within a single task, explore Steps. If the question is which activity to choose, a choice board presents options instead of a sequence.
